Florida Veterinary Referral Center (FVRC)
Who is Merlin?
Merlin was a beautiful Corgi that underwent treatment at FVRC for bladder cancer, diabetes, and a liver tumor. As you can imagine with Merlin’s complicated medical conditions he had many trips to our office. Often during Merlin’s visits, his family would get to know other patients. Some patients were in need and Merlin’s family donated generously to help with treatments. It is this generous nature and Merlin’s perseverance that inspired us to make him the namesake for our fund – Merlin is one of our Miracles!
This fund is an FVRC partnership with the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and was put in place to help expand the avenues of giving to help pets in need. Since the foundation’s operating expenses are funded through FVRC membership dues, 100% of every dollar donated to MERLIN’S MIRACLE FUND is used to assist in the treatment of sick or injured animals.
