Dr. Cheryl Ankenbrandt is an Emergency veterinarian at Florida Veterinary Referral Center & 24-hour Emergency Hospital (FVRC).

Dr. Ankenbrandt graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She moved to Florida the next day and has practiced general small animal medicine and emergency medicine since then. Her professional interests include toxicology, immune-mediated diseases, and client education. Outside of the office, Dr. Ankenbrandt enjoys spending time on the water and can usually be found boating with her two dogs. She also shares her home with three cats, who honestly think the dogs should just move out.
